Scandinavia Trip: Day 1

I landed in Stockholm immediately after a brief end in Copenhagen, checked into the hostel, and with a couple of hours of rest underneath my belt ventured into central Stockholm to investigate the city. I stumbled upon the most important park where the city was setting up a stage and a giant display for the Sweden v. Russia game (Sweden misplaced later on that night the mood was not precisely festive out on the streets).

I met up with a couple of buddies at the Central Station and we walked as a result of the modest island of Gamla Stan, the historical center of Stockholm, and onto the up coming island of Sodermalm where we grabbed dinner. I was in a position to persuade them to present me the Wednesday nightlife in the city, so we headed to a bar that overlooks the city where we drank Carlsbergs when the sun hovered in excess of the horizon effectively past eleven p.m. We then headed more south to a rooftop bar with an amazing view of the city.

Right here the sun finally virtually set (it was about one) and we cabbed it more than to the stylish community of Norrmalm to our ultimate club in which they have been playing a mix of dance and reggae on a tiny dancefloor close to the outside bar. We filtered out with the crowd as the sun crept back out close to three a.m.
